Dedication and Determination
Michael Brown served in the U.S. Army for twenty years, retiring as a First Sergeant at age 37. He was awarded the U.S. Army Recruiting Ring, which is the highest award given for exceptional performance. His last assignment was Commanding Officer of the U.S. Army Recruiting in Atlanta, Georgia, where he was responsible for all recruiting activities for the five metro counties.
In 1985, he became a District Manager with the Equitable Life Assurance Society. He and Charles W. Moore organized a partnership known as B&M Financial Services. Mr. Moore has since retired from the business.
Mr. Brown is a graduate of Fayetteville State University where he earned a Bachelor’s degree and subsequently a Masters Degree in Adult Education from North Carolina State University. Email Mr. Brown at [email protected]
